i'm not sure i know who i am, but i know what i'm not:
- i'm not a food writer.
- i'm not even a writer.
- i'm not a "restaurant reviewer", nor do i have any aspirations to be one.
- i'm not overly concerned with typos. although if i habitually misspell something, i hope someone will point it out.
- i'm not trying to teach anyone anything. i'm just sharing.
- i'm not a photographer.
- i don't know how to use my camera.
- i didn't start this blog for fame or fortune, and if it turns out to be simply a place to store thoughts and pictures and tasting notes, and no one but me ever sees it, well that'd good too.
note: apologies to Holly from hollyeats.com. i'm not sure if it was subconscious or just coincidence that i chose "tommy:eats" as the name of this blog. you know what they say about imitation and all of that.
I do not accept freebies and likely won't respond to any PR regarding soft openings, previews, special media events, etc. Don't take it personally.
