Tomo: Ramsey, NJ (Closed)

Ramsey's Tomo Japanese Restaurant has closed.   I noticed it was dark the other night, and no one has been answering the phones.

Tomo (unrelated to Little Falls' Tomo) was a great little spot in the most unlikely of places:  a Howard Johnson on Route 17.

A funky little Japanese place with exceptional sushi, and even a Tiki bar outside.  We referred to it as "Ghetto Sushi."  Not the fish, though, which was always good.

If it's gone for good that'll be a big loss.  Say it ain't so, HoJo.
